  • Tony Halton has had a long award-winning career as a Production Designer and Director. Starting his career in the BBC Art Department he went onto feature films, working on Rolling Stones and Elton John concerts, and designing shows like the Abba Australian tour.

    He founded his own production company in Soho London - Halton Roy Productions - directing over 150 TV commercials, music videos, TV programming and arts documentaries.

    In all he has worked in over thirty countries around the world with, at one period, being represented by nine agents/ production companies. Recently he has specialised in films about artists.

  • Gordon Samuel is a founding partner of the Osborne Samuel Gallery in Mayfair, London. He began his career at London’s Redfern in 1970 and became a partner, aged 27 in 1978.

    His career has included periods as a director/partner at Mercury Gallery (1995-2000) and Scolar Fine Art/Gordon Samuel (2000-2004) and formed Osborne Samuel in 2004 with Peter Osborne.  The gallery is regarded internationally as one of the leading galleries in the field of Modern British Art. Gordon has curated many exhibitions and produced multiple exhibition catalogues. He curated Cutting Edge, an exhibition of works by the avant-garde linocut artists of the 1920s and 30s who attended the Grosvenor School of Modern Art at London’s historic museum, the Dulwich Picture Gallery in 2019, the world’s first purpose-built picture gallery, built in 1812. 

    Gordon is the curator of the exhibition Helen Clapcott: A Portrait of Stockport and the Executive Producer of the video on of the same title by Tony Halton.
